Communicating complex concepts such as carbon storage, forest-based value chains, and climate mitigation is not straightforward. For this reason, the WOOD4LIFE project has developed its official video: a motion design piece built primarily on footage from our forests, designed to make these topics more accessible and tangible.
The video explains three core aspects of the project:
- How forests capture and store CO₂ through biomass growth, contributing to climate mitigation
- How wood-based products can act as long-term carbon storage, supporting the transition towards a carbon-positive future
- How Wood4LIFE aims to reactivate a low-carbon value chain, through the development of two complementary business models
By combining real forest imagery with visual storytelling, the video offers a clearer understanding of how nature-based solutions and bio-based materials can play a strategic role in decarbonisation pathways.
